Providing virtual therapy to Virginia residents only. Accepts United Healthcare, Aetna, CareFirst/Anthem/BlueCross BluShield and Cigna Insurance only.
I am a Licensed Master Social Worker who provides individual counseling to teenagers, young-adults, and adults. My clients may be processing or living with cognitive, emotional, behavioral and relational challenges caused or exacerbated by grief and loss, relationships, a traumatic event, anxiety, depression, or an ongoing patterns such as avoidance, procrastination, crying, impulsivity, little interest or pleasure in activities, isolation or negative thoughts that keeps reappearing no matter how hard they try to outgrow it. My clients may also be in search of a safe space to process, explore or understand their reactions or responses, desires, unmet need, emotions and experiences.

Perhaps my clients feel they are stuck in cycles of people‑pleasing, self‑criticism, avoidance, or perfectionism that make it difficult to feel grounded or at peace. They might come into therapy hoping to “fix” a specific problem but soon discover they are also searching for deeper self‑knowledge—an understanding of how their past shaped their present, and how they can reshape their future. They want to strengthen their boundaries, improve their communication, build healthier relationships, and reconnect with parts of themselves that may have gone quiet in the chaos of daily responsibilities or unresolved pain.

I am skilled in assessment of anxiety, depression, PTSD, OCD, Bipolar Disorder, ADHD. In sessions I may utilize the practice of Mindfulness, CBT, ACT, psychodynamic perspectives, solution focused therapy, person centered therapy, and an exploration of past and present experiences. I focus on helping clients understand the “why” behind their emotional patterns while also giving them practical, grounded tools they can use day‑to‑day.
I value collaboration deeply. Therapy with me is a partnership: we co‑create goals, reflect openly, and celebrate growth. I help clients reconnect with their strengths, develop healthier boundaries, and cultivate emotional resilience. My goal is not to “fix” anyone but to support them in building a relationship with themselves that is compassionate, grounded, and whole.

If you’re reading this and recognize pieces of yourself—please know that you’re not alone. You’re not “too much”, or “not enough.” You’re human. Reaching out can feel intimidating—especially if you’re used to being the helper, the caretaker, or the one who “holds it all together.” I want you to know that your feelings make sense!
