About Me

I provide counseling to children, teens, adults, and families navigating emotional, behavioral, and developmental challenges. In addition to my clinical training, I currently work in a school setting and have prior experience as an ABA provider supporting neurodivergent clients. These experiences allow me to understand how individuals function across home, school, and community environments and to provide care that is both practical and compassionate.

I provide clinical assessment, treatment planning, and virtual counseling services to teens and adults from diverse backgrounds, including LGBTQ+ individuals and racially and culturally diverse communities. I support clients navigating challenges such as rumination, intrusive thoughts, and persistent negative patterns that interfere with daily life. You may feel stuck in cycles of overthinking, self-criticism, or emotional overwhelm—patterns that can contribute to anxiety, depression, impulsivity, anger, bipolar disorder, addictive behaviors, OCD, grief, ADHD, PTSD, and more. Even when things appear manageable on the outside, it can feel exhausting internally.

Many of the individuals I work with are used to being the “reliable one”—the person others depend on for support, stability, or solutions. While meaningful, this role can come at a cost. You may find it difficult to prioritize your own needs, question your self-worth, or feel disconnected from a sense of fulfillment. Therapy offers a space to slow down, reflect, and better understand the patterns that may be keeping you stuck.

Supporting Neurodivergent Clients & Families

I have a strong interest in supporting neurodivergent individuals, including those with Autism and ADHD, as well as working with their families. My approach is neurodiversity-affirming, meaning I do not view these differences as deficits to be “fixed,” but as valid ways of experiencing the world. I focus on helping clients build skills that support their well-being while honoring their unique strengths and needs.

I also collaborate with families and schools to create consistency across environments, support social-emotional development, and advocate for client needs. Whether navigating school challenges, behavioral concerns, or family dynamics, I aim to provide thoughtful and coordinated care.

How I Work

My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to your unique experiences. I integrate evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing.

  • CBT helps us identify and reframe unhelpful thought patterns contributing to distress.

  • DBT builds skills for emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and healthier relationships.

  • ACT supports self-acceptance and values-based living, helping you move toward what matters most.

  • Solution-Focused Therapy highlights your strengths and supports practical, achievable change.

  • Motivational Interviewing helps strengthen your internal motivation and readiness for growth.

When working with neurodivergent clients, I adapt these approaches to fit different cognitive styles, focusing on emotional regulation, self-understanding, and skill-building rather than masking or suppressing traits.

What to Expect

In our work together, we’ll explore both past and present experiences—understanding how your story has shaped you while focusing on what’s happening in your life right now. We’ll identify patterns that may be maintaining distress and develop tools to help you respond in more intentional, supportive ways.

Therapy with me is not about judgment or pressure to “fix” yourself. It’s about creating a space where you can feel seen, build insight, and develop strategies to navigate life more effectively. Together, we’ll work toward reducing the intensity of intrusive thoughts, breaking cycles of rumination, and strengthening your ability to cope with difficult emotions.

My goal is to help you feel more grounded, empowered, and aligned with your values. Whether you’re looking to manage anxiety, improve relationships, support your child, or reconnect with a sense of purpose, I’m here to support you in building a path forward that feels meaningful and sustainable.
