Not accepting clients.

Providing virtual therapy to Virginia, District of Columbia and Maryland residents only. Accepts Aetna, CareFirst/Anthem/BlueCross BluShield, United HealthCare and Cigna Insurance only.

I work with teens and adults navigating worrying, sadness, relationships, marriage, perfectionism, parenting executive functioning challenges, life transitions, and the weight of grief, guilt, shame, or trauma. I have a special interest in supporting clients through pregnancy, postpartum transitions, and the emotional toll of infertility. I also help young adults clarify values, strengthen relationships, and make meaningful decisions about work and life direction.

Many of my clients feel stuck in patterns of worry, overwhelm, avoidance, procrastination, people-pleasing, or self-criticism. I offer a space where you feel supported in what you’re facing now, while also exploring how past experiences, family dynamics, and self-limiting beliefs may be shaping your present. Together, we’ll work to shift what’s no longer serving you—supporting nervous system regulation, building emotional resilience, and fostering meaningful behavior change so you can engage more fully and intentionally in daily life.

My practice is grounded in evidence-based approaches, supported by my ongoing Clinical Mental Health Counseling training at the University of Louisiana at Monroe. I draw on attachment theory (to explore how early relationships continue to influence you) and IFS (to support the parts of you that feel wounded or stuck), so you can move through life with greater clarity, calm, and self-trust. I also incorporate DBT (to provide tools for managing emotions and building healthier relationships), ACT (to support values-based action), somatic therapy (to regulate the nervous system), Narrative Therapy (to reshape self-limiting stories), and Motivational Interviewing (to strengthen motivation to change). My approach is inclusive and culturally responsive, supporting the well-being of BIPOC, Latino/a, and LGBTQ+ clients. I bring a trauma-informed lens, creating space for healing at a pace that feels safe and supportive.

I bring warmth and curiosity, asking thoughtful questions to deepen self-awareness, recognize triggers, and build on your strengths. I take a holistic view of healing—considering how mind, body, relationships, and environment shape well-being, with cultural sensitivity and deep respect for your unique identity.

I'm providing virtual mental health counseling under the clinical supervision of Tiffany Bufort Odom, LCPC
