I’ve experienced major life changes as a spouse, parent, and sibling, and I recognize that juggling multiple roles, identities, and expectations can often feel overwhelming. Life has a way of stretching us in many directions at once, and sometimes we need a safe, supportive space to pause, breathe, and reflect. My goal is to offer that space, one where your whole self is welcomed, your cultural identities are honored, and your lived experiences are validated.
I provide mental health counseling for adults who are managing an existing mental health condition or hoping to prevent one by addressing stress before it becomes unmanageable. Many of my clients are seeking support for persistent relationship conflict, anxiety, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, burnout, depression, difficult childhood experiences, family-of-origin concerns, career or life transitions, immigration-related stress, sexuality and gender identity concerns, or simply feeling “stuck” in patterns they’re ready to change.
I also work with couples who want to understand each other more deeply, communicate more effectively, navigate cultural or familial differences, and build healthier, more intentional relationships. Together, we will clarify individual and shared values, develop conflict-management skills, and strengthen emotional connection.
In addition to therapy, I offer evidence-based mental health assessments for individuals seeking accommodations for school, work, testing, or medical procedures. Many institutions require formal documentation, and I help clients complete the necessary evaluations in a clear, supportive, and professional manner.
During my clinical training at the University of Massachusetts Global, I focused on fostering psychologically safe relationships, advocating for client needs, and supporting individuals in applying practical strategies to alleviate distress and enhance daily functioning. In our work together, we may draw from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), attachment theory, solution-focused approaches, and person-centered care. These tools help us regulate emotions, stabilize mood, strengthen relationships, challenge unhelpful thoughts, process trauma, and make meaningful behavior changes.
Our work will start with a diagnostic assessment and treatment planning process. This helps us set clear, measurable goals and gives you a roadmap for what we’ll be working toward. From there, we focus on building a trusting, collaborative relationship where you feel safe enough to be honest, curious, and fully yourself. I aim to create a therapeutic space where you can reconnect with parts of yourself that may have been pushed aside because of shame, criticism, fear, or past hurt. Therapy offers a space to develop healthier emotional habits, improve self-connection, and build safety and empowerment. Together, we can work on boundary setting, mood regulation, interpersonal effectiveness, trauma healing, and learning how to respond to life instead of constantly reacting to it.
During our sessions, I might thoughtfully question things that seem out of sync, not to criticize, but to help us uncover deeper insights and recurring patterns together. For example, if you describe a relationship as toxic but continue to engage with it, we’ll explore what pulls you back and what you truly want for yourself.
My role is to walk with you, not ahead or behind you, as you move toward a life that feels more grounded, aligned, and emotionally safe. You deserve a space where you can grow, heal, and reconnect with who you are becoming. I’d be honored to help you create that.
